Three members of the Boston University women's soccer team are set to board a plane to Nicaragua this January as part of a volunteer trip with Soccer Without Boarders. Rachel Bloznalis, and Dorrie Varley-Barrett, each are fundraising up to $1,000 for the trip and are collecting donated soccer equipment for the communities there.
Soccer Without Border's mission statement is to "use soccer as a vehicle for positive change, providing under-served youth a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion and personal success." Check out the video above to learn more.
